As my immediate family members and close friends know, I am a “compulsive room purger”. I'm about to explain WHAT that is and why it's important for YOU.

So, while most of the time this habit of mine troubles the people around me (namely my step mother), I’m happy to say that on occasion, it leads to brilliant organizational ideas.
My latest room purge inspired me to create these bracelet bottles. While I was “cleansing and organizing” my room, I came across two antique-styled, glass, soda bottles that I had kept for no good reason. Once, I tried filling them with colorful beads, but that fun came to an abrupt end when one of the beads got stuck in the neck, and I couldn’t remove it. But this temporary setback turned into an even better idea. CHECK IT:
Not only do they look like art (if I do say so myself), but they also keep all my bracelets together where I can see and access them easily. And with this setup, I’ve actually rediscovered bracelets that I thought I’d lost years ago.
DIY TIP: when making bracelet bottles, the more the bottle changes in width the better. Why? Because the changes in circumference (distance around the bottle) allow you to fit different sizes of bracelets, and assures that the bracelets don’t clump together in an ugly mess at one point on the bottle. Oh, and don't be discouraged if it takes some time for you to figure out which bracelets should be stacked where. It takes some trial and error, but it's worth the effort.
Have fun with this J
Sincerely Sophie
