This week in Israel, I've been blessed with the presence of my dear family, to include my father, step mother, and two sisters. My boss at the stable as well as the staff on my program have been kind enough to let me spend time with them.
Aside from venturing to Tel Aviv to experience the deaf museum (no speaking aloud!), scavenging for gifts on Ben Yehuda, eating out at exotic restaurants, and introducing them to my boyfriend, we went to the Old City in the center of Jerusalem. I snapped a few shots that I hope you will enjoy. What do you think?
My fashionista sister is such a stud! She looks so cute in her red coat :)
We have twin cameras, so we decided to take a twin pho
Israeli flag and the Western Wall (the Kotel).
Pillars and a pretty sky.
Dad and Michal and their Nikons.
Daddy in photographer stance. He looks great!
I love finding pre-framed pictures like this one, thanks to the stone arch.
Dramatized flag.
Happy twenty-ten everyone! What are your resolutions this year?
Sincerely Sophie

Soph, great job! It is a lot of fun being with you this week, sorry it has to end so soon, but we will be in touch--I am sure that the balance of the year will be great for you! Then we'll see you in May!
Love, Daddy

Hi Sophie: I especially like the cracked glass photo! I loved spending time with you this week. We're having fun in London: Tower of London yesterday, Kensington Palace today (where Princess Diana lived), "Wicked" tonight, and a Beatles exhibit at the National Portrait gallery tomorrow morning, then it's back to Baltimore for us. Keep in touch!
Love,
Donna
